Our engineers hold current Red Hat certifications across infrastructure, containerisation, and automation.

Atlassian — Platinum Solution Partner since 2003. Obsidian Systems, together with its subsidiary SmarterTeams, is the largest Atlassian Solutions Partner in South Africa and on the African continent. We provide licensing, cloud migration, integration, managed services, and certified training across the full Atlassian suite — including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

AWS — Advanced Partner. We provide AWS licensing in South African Rand with 30-day payment terms, eliminating the exchange rate risk associated with direct USD billing. Our Advanced Partner status includes Well-Architected Review capability, cloud migration advisory, and ongoing managed services.

Penguin Solutions (Stratus) — We are an authorised partner for Penguin Solutions' fault-tolerant computing platforms, including the Stratus ztC Edge and Stratus ztC Endurance families. These platforms address the specific infrastructure reliability challenges South African organisations face — including power instability, branch-site risk, and the need for continuous application availability without enterprise data centre overhead.
